Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Messageries Speedo Ltd. ("Speedo", "we") collects and protects the personal information you provide through messageriespeedo.ca and our courier services. It complies with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with our services, we may collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your company
• Your phone and email
• Pickup and destination addresses and package details
• Comments or delivery instructions
• Your consents (SMS, marketing)
• Billing information tied to your customer account

3. Purposes

• Arrange and execute pickup and delivery
• Update you in real time (email, phone, SMS with consent)
• Issue proof of delivery
• Bill the service and process payment
• With explicit consent, send marketing communications
• Continuously improve service quality

4. SMS consent

If you provide a phone number, we request explicit consent to send text messages (pickup confirmation, status updates, proof of delivery). Frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan. Unsubscribe anytime by replying STOP.

5. Marketing consent

Marketing consent is optional and separate from SMS consent. Withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email.

6. Retention

Delivery records are retained for seven (7) years to meet Canadian accounting and tax requirements. Marketing-related data is retained until you withdraw consent.

7. Third-party sharing

Speedo never sells personal information. We share only with:

• Our couriers and transport partners (air, US carriers), strictly to execute your delivery
• Cloudflare (United States / global edge) — static hosting (Cloudflare Pages) and operational technical logging (anonymized access logs)
• Aspyn AI Inc. (Longueuil, Quebec) — secure relay of form submissions to our internal email recipients (the forms.aspyn.ai service)
• Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare Inc.) — privacy-respecting anti-bot verification, with no persistent cookies and no advertising-profile tracking
• Google Tag Manager + Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, United States) — tag management and audience measurement. No tag fires until you give explicit consent via the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2 default-denied). If you decline or do not respond, no data is transmitted to Google.
• Our payment processor (Visa · MasterCard · American Express)

Some of these sub-processors host your data in the United States. By using our forms you consent to this cross-border transfer. Our contracts impose confidentiality obligations consistent with Quebec requirements on each third party.

8. Cookies

Three categories:

• Essential — site operation (privacy preferences). Always active.
• Analytics — anonymous statistics. Active only with your consent.
• Marketing — ad-campaign effectiveness. Active only with your consent.
